Fall sights and sounds

I am truly amazed each fall when the bits of color start to appear.  The oranges and reds and yellows swirling around the deep, almost black bark.  I love the fall – the sights and the sounds.  I love to crunch through the little piles of leaves that the brisk autumn winds pile for us to play in.  If you want to see some beautiful fall pictures, go visit Snapdragon!

The only problem is that means winter is coming – I will not think about the winter… no, not now.  I will think about something else.

Our dance went well on Friday even though there was low attendance…

I am onto the second giant orange hunting sock and have nearly finished a pair of fetching.  I used an old skein of Knitpicks memories yarn and held two strands together.  I am going to over-dye them so they don’t look so hideous – pix soon.

We are going to go camping this weekend – marshmallows BEWARE!
